Stephen Thomas Blake

On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Stephen Thomas Blake, 63, of Mount Holly, met Jesus face to face unexpectedly. He was born in Gaston County to the late Bill and Carol Godfrey Blake. Steve was employed full time as a National Safety Manager. He was a member of The Heights in Belmont. Steve will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, and Papa. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Judy Pasour Blake; children, Jackie Brantley and her husband Nick, Zach Blake and his wife Tyler, and Danielle Blake; grandchildren, Caroline Brantley, Kennedy Brantley, and Madelyn Blake; as well as his sister, Karen Taylor and her husband Stan, and his brothers, Dennis Blake and his wife Lisa and Tony Blake and his wife Anita. The family will greet guests from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at The Heights, 311 Belmont-Mount Holly Road in Belmont. A service to celebrate his life will follow at 3:30, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Heights. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
