Steve Otto Nixon

Steve Otto Nixon, 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Otto and Helena Moffitt Nixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virgia Bowen Nixon; his son, Tommy Lee Nixon. Mr. Nixon was a U.S. Army Veteran and recipient of the Good Conduct, National Defense Service, and Marksmanship medals.

Mr. Nixon is survived by his brother, Donald Wayne Nixon and wife, Martha; his niece, Dana Absher and husband, William; and his nephew, Darren Nixon and his wife, Angela.

A graveside service to celebrate Mr. Nixon's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Berryhill Baptist Church Cemetery, Charlotte.
