Steven William Fitzgerald

The family of Steven William Fitzgerald is saddened to announce his passing on August 12, 2024, at age 64, after a short illness.
Steve was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts. More recently, Steve lived in Belmont, North Carolina with his partner, Donna Jenkins.

Steve worked in the building trades throughout his life and was an expert carpenter and cabinet maker. Steve loved the outdoors and was especially fond of boating. His family and friends will miss his dry sense of humor and his understated charm. 
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Richard Fitzgerald, and his brother, Thomas Fitzgerald. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Benjamin Ryan Fitzgerald, his mother, Eileen Fitzgerald, and his siblings, Terence Fitzgerald, Patricia Basler (and David Basler,) Michael Fitzgerald (and Stacy Andrews,) and Matthew Fitzgerald (and Martha MacLeish.) Steve is also survived by his aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friend, Lisa Stowe.
A celebration of his life will be held in Massachusetts in the near future.
