Syntha "Cindy" (Caldwell) Cook

Syntha "Cindy" Caldwell Cook, 67, of Dallas, passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 17th, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born in Gaston County to the late James "Pete" and Betty Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Danny and Darrell Caldwell and her sister and best friend, Murrial Jones. She will be remembered as the most fun, loving and caring, wife, mom, nana, aunt and friend. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Mike, of 49 years; daughters, Amanda Stone and husband, David and Nikki Harrison and husband, Tim; her grandchildren, Connor and Saylom Usher and Alyssa and Easton Harrison; brother, Tim Caldwell and his wife, Dale Ann; sister, Sharon Caldwell; brother-in-law, Dale Jones; sister-in-law, Melody Caldwell; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as her bonus sister, Sylvia Canipe, and her friend since childhood, Robin Johnson. The family will greet guests from 11:00 until 12:30 Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate Cindy's life will be held immediately following at 12:30, also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
