Thomas Lindsey Cardwell

Thomas Lindsey Cardwell, 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born in Baltimore, MD, son of the late William and Dorothy Houseman Cardwell Eubank. Mr. Cardwell was a U.S. Army Veteran and had retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of New Covenant United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School.

Mr. Cardwell is survived by his wife, Linda Craft Cardwell; his children, Brett Armstrong and wife, Nicole and Trey Armstrong and wife, Michele; his grandchildren, Kera Barlow and husband, Austin, Nick Gwinn, Jay Gwinn, Hannah Armstrong and fiance', Matthew Barrett, Brianna Armstrong; his great-grandchildren, Nick Gwinn, Jr. and Jaxon Barrett; and his brother, William Cardwell and his wife, Lynne.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cardwell will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at New Covenant United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to New Covenant United Methodist Church, 14514 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mount Holly, NC 28120.
