Thomas O'dell "Dell" Miller, II, 58, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at his home after a brief illness. He fought bravely and relied on God to see him through. Born in Mecklenburg County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Miller and Brenda Scarborough Miller. Mr. Miller was a Veteran of the Air National Guard. He immensely loved his God and his country.
Dell was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was a hardworking man who took wonderful care of his family. HIs daughters were his pride and joy. He was a long-time member of Second Baptist Church in Mount Holly, NC, where he currently served as a Deacon. Dell's life work was serving others through the healthcare system.
Dell had numerous family members, co-workers and lifelong friends who will remember Dell's quick wit, sly smile, and willingness to always help in time of need. He was truly blessed to have their support and friendship.
Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 31 years, Sheri Gwinn Miller, who was the love of his life; his beloved daughters, Morgan Miller and Elise Miller; his sister, Nicole Whitner; his brother, Chris Miller (Brooks); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Miller will be held at a later date.
