Timothy William (Timmy) Mullis, 64, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Ida Mae Ward and William I. and Marviean Mullis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Kay Hovis; and his brother, Randy Ward.
Timmy owned RPW Appliance Service and enjoyed working with his customers. He never met a stranger. In addition, he loved animals.
Mr. Mullis is survived by his wife, Lisa Hovis Mullis; his children, Josh Harper (Brittany) and Tyler Cloninger (Katie); 6 grandchildren; his siblings, Trena Boldt (Martin), Ponee Lowery, Nickie West, Tracy Brock (Tim), and Scott Ward (Glenda); his father-in-law, Billy Hovis; his sister-in-law, Kim Isenhour (Jeff); and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Mullis family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Services for Mr. Mullis will be private.
