In Loving Memory of Tracy Austin McConnell
April 20, 1964 – May 30, 2026

Tracy Austin McConnell, beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 20, 1964, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Tracy lived a life centered around family and friends, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Tracy's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Kevin McConnell, and a loving mother to her three daughters, Kellie (Jerry) Talbot, Shanie (Kyle) Bridges, and Morgan (Brandon) McIntosh. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her eight cherished grandchildren: Kayden, Hunter, Adleigh, Brylynn, Weston, Finley, Hudson, and Sawyer. She treasured every moment with them and took immense pride in watching them grow.

Tracy had a vibrant spirit, humorous words, and a heart full of love. She found joy in the simple beauties of life—yellow flowers, butterflies, softball and sports of all kind, sunny days at the beach, and time spent with family and friends. Above all, Tracy loved Jesus, and her faith carried her through life’s challenges with strength.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Austin, and her brother, David Austin.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Alice Austin; her loving husband, Kevin McConnell; her daughters and sons-in-law; her precious grandchildren, her brother; and countless friends and extended family members who were blessed by her presence, warmth, and unwavering love.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Levine & Dickson Hospice House for the exceptional care, comfort, and support provided to Tracy and her loved ones during her final days.

Though Tracy's presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, laughter, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Tracy's life will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mt. Holly. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
