Vickie Renee Joy

Vickie Renee Joy, age 71, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2026, at Pineville Health & Rehab. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Donald and Barabara Keith Joy.

Vickie spent her career working for various companies as an accountant and retired after many years of service. She was a longtime active member of Paw Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte.

She is survived by her sisters: Libby Joy, and Lynn Garris (Val);,her nephews: Griffin Garris, Brady Garris, and Matthew Steele; her great nieces: Lola Steele, Chelan Steele, Wendy Steele, and Chrissy Steele, as well as numerous cousins and extended family.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte, NC.
