Violet June Vaughn Green, 82, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Harry and Ella Stinson Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James Wilburn Green. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Green; her granddaughter, Amelia Green Postell; and her great-grandchildren, Elan Postell and Emmett Postell.
