Wanda Mary (Baker) Dahir

Wanda Baker Dahir, 61, of Bessemer City, met Jesus face to face on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born in Tazewell, Virginia to the late Herman Edison Baker and Omie Mitchell Blakley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, David Blakley and her siblings, Linda Williams, Michael Blakley, and Hurl Baker. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Dennis Dahir; her children, Melissa Dahir, Carol Dahir Bundy and her husband Charles, Christina Simmons Dahir, and Katelyn Dahir; her siblings, Judy Morris, Harvey Blakley, Will Blakley, and Yvonne Lunsford; and her special cat, "Captain Jack". The family will greet guests from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Revival Tabernacle, 212 S. Highway 27, Stanley. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the church. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
