Wanda Irvin Smith, age 63, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday June 14, 2026 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late William and Martha Jordan Irvin.
Wanda was happiest when she spent time with her family at get togethers or thrifting with her close friend. She loved to show her love and support her nephews at their sporting events and concerts. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 41 years Mark Smith,; her sisters: Linda Rogers (Don), and Brenda Capps (Brian), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 18, 2026 at Forest Lawn West in Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Carolina Caring Hospice.
