Obituary
William "Bill" Marvin Carr, 65, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born in Gaston County, the son of the late Murphy Alexander Carr and Evia Mae Watts Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Carr; and his uncle, Troy Watts.
Mr. Carr is survived by his sons, Justin Carr (Brittany Jackson), Andrew Cope, Jonathon Carr (Haley), his grandchildren, Thomas Carr, Alexis Cope, Michael Reep, Talan Carr, Havannah Carr, Allison, and Dalena; and his aunt, Ann Watts. He was known to all as an avid welder, hard worker, lover of the gym and working out, and a traveler. He especially enjoyed travelling to the mountains and going deep sea fishing in his spare time. He is dearly loved and will be missed.
Private services will be held at a later date.
