William Roger Felton

William Roger Felton, 72, of Gastonia, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Gaston County to the late William Rollen Felton and Tina Elizabeth O'Donahuge Felton.  Mr. Felton was an avid gardener.  He had a love for raising his sheep and shagging.  Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Tommy Ray Felton and Timmy Ray Felton; stepdaughter, Joy Lee; his grandchildren, Emily, Rebecca, Jake, and Will Felton; step grandchildren, Donovan, Matthew, and Kara Hardy' and his siblings, Edith Cogdell, and her husband Terry, Kenneth Felton, and his wife Bunnie, and Jimmy Felton, and his wife Sherry.  The family will greet guests from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, December 31, at 2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.  Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.  Online condolences may be left at www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
