Billy Cole Fox

Billy Cole Fox, 93, passed away August 27 2018.

He was born in Gaston County, son of the late John Floyd and Ollie Dagenhart Fox.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Dameron Fox; two brothers Donald B. Fox and James N. Fox; three sisters Kathleen Boyd Fox, Leathy I. Fox, and Pansy Fox Deitz. Billy worked for IBM for 35 years.  He was soft spoken, kind, always thinking of others, and was dedicated to his family. He will be greatly missed by family and those who knew him.

He is survived by sons Billy C. Fox and John D. Fox; a grandson James D. Fox and his wife Brandi; and great-grandson Joseph B. Fox.

We would like to send a special thanks to Ellen and Wendall Moore, Kelly Fox, and Ann and Pat Toomey for being there for him; as well as to the staff at Stanley Total Living Center for the care given to Bill.

A visitation to remember Billy will be held Thursday, August 30 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mt. Holly.
