Brenda Faye (Mabe) Evans

Brenda Faye Mabe Evans, 73, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. She was born in Randolph County, NC, daughter of the late James Kermit Mabe and Anna Deliah Mabe Keeter and step-father, Melvin T. Keeter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband of 47 years, Thomas W. Evans; and her son, Kenneth Evans. Mrs. Evans was a warm, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her Lord and was a committed member of Revival Tabernacle of Stanley.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her children, Timothy Evans (Shannon) and Rebecca Evans (Chris Blackmon); daughter-in-law Tina Evans; her sister, Carolyn Eastridge (Joe); her brothers, Don Mabe (Betty Constable), Junior Mabe (Cynthia) and Lynn Keeter (Sarah Shires); and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Megan, Sydney and Wesley Evans.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Evans will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Revival Tabernacle of Stanley with Pastor John Mayberry officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday at the church and at other times at the home of Rebecca Evans, 806 E. Chestnut St., Stanley, NC 28164.
