Debra Kay Whitman Martin Zimmerman, 62, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Milton C. Whitman and Virginia Minor Whitman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Barry D. Martin and her son, Barry D. Martin, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela M. Chaney; grandchildren, Preston Chaney, Parker Chaney, Sarah Martin Livingston and Jacob Martin Livingston and his wife, Madison and their daughter, Mayson.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at a later time by her daughter. Donations to help defray costs associated with funeral services as well as condolence messages may be sent by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the family.
