Dominick Salvatore Frontauria

Dominick Salvatore Frontauria, a native of Garfield, NJ, was born on March 31, 1948, died on June 17, 2019 at home in Huntersville, NC surrounded by his wife and children. Dominick was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Rose (DeBenedetto) Frontauria and his younger brother, Michael Frontauria. Dominick is survived by his wife, Linda Ballard Frontauria and his children Salvatore D. Frontauria and wife Donya, Dawn Frontauria, and Samantha Frontauria from previous wife Diane L. Dodge; Becki and husband John Heffner. All reside in North Carolina. Dominick’s brothers and sisters: Martin Frontauria of Sparta, NJ, Joseph Frontauria and wife Angela of Scottsdale, AZ, Maria Frontauria Compolo and husband Tom of Fairlawn, NJ, Lucille Frontauria Latona and husband Anthony of Lodi, NJ; his grandchildren: Berthony and Joshua Frontauria, Brooke and Jaci Heffner. Dominick was gifted with ten nieces and nephews including two Godchildren; Christina Dodge and Francesca Rose Frontauria. Dominick served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1970. During these years, he proudly called the USS Midway 41 aircraft carrier his home as he served in Vietnam. Later in life, Dominick received his BS in Internet Technology through the University of Phoenix and dedicated much of his time writing short stories, fiction and autobiographical.  A celebration of life is schedule for June 21, 2019 at 5:00 PM and will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel at 375 Woodlawn Ave. Mount Holly, NC. There will be a private graveside ceremony with military honors at the Salisbury National Cemetery located in Salisbury, NC at a later date.
