Eric Timothy Propst

Eric Timothy Propst, 74, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late Andrew Sonny and Clara Mae Propst (Whitman). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Propst. He was a veteran of the Air National Guard and member of South Marietta Street Baptist Church, Gastonia. He enjoyed hunting.

Mr. Propst is survived by his children, Kimberly Dawn Propst Carrigan, and Chris Propst (Wendy); two granddaughters, Kinsey Carrigan Helms, and Madison Aleese Carrigan (David); two great-granddaughters, Sydnie Paige Helms, and Annalise Rae Ekleberry; his former wife, Brenda Stack Propst; a sister, Tina Propst Wheeler (Vic); and a brother, Jerry Propst; former son-in-law, Ray Carrigan; and his cat, Miss Kitty.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Propst will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
