Etrulia Lowe McIntosh

Etrulia Lowe McIntosh, age 94, of Lowesville, died Thursday, July 26, 2018.  She was born in Gaston County a daughter of the late Dora Virginia Painter and Thomas Earl Lowe.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Guy McIntosh; a son Darrell Guy McIntosh; a son in law Mike Luckey; as well as five sisters and one brother.  Those left to cherish her memory include her children Thomas Ellis McIntosh and his wife Linda of Denver, and Sharon McIntosh Luckey of Lowesville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 29 at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church, 988 N Carolina 16, Stanley.  Visitation will begin at 1:30 until the funeral hour at 3:00, also at the church.  Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hills Chapel United Methodist Church.
