Gerald Herbert Clingerman "Jerry"

Gerald Herbert Clingerman "Jerry", 71, of Gastonia, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was the son of Herbert John Clingerman and Genevive Jacobs Clingerman of Carlton, PA.  He was a 1964 graduate of Cochranton High School and a 1967 graduate of Cleveland Engineering.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Lynch Clingerman formerly of Conneautville, PA, now residing in Gastonia.  Mr. and Mrs. Clingerman have two children, a son Kyle Geoffrey Clingerman and a daughter Kate Lynn Clingerman Meeks and husband Robert Ellsworth Meeks; two grandsons Bryan Ashton Clingerman and Brandan Payton Clingerman of Mount Holly, North Carolina.  Mr. Clingerman was a Design Engineer employed by Talon, Inc. in Meadville, Pa and Gastonia, NC.  He later worked at Design Tool, Inc., Conover, NC.  A visitation to celebrate Jerry's life will be held 6 to 8:00 pm Friday, June 22 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
