Jeffery John Kelly Benfield

Jeffery John Kelly Benfield, 62, of Gastonia, died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.  He was born in Gaston County, son of the late J.R. Benfield and Margaret Pauline Ramsey Benfield.  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Cynthia Almond Benfield; children Kelly Ann Isenhour, Margaret Renee Jones and her fiance Greg Sensing ,and Suella Gibson and her husband Michael; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a sister Mickey Jean Pelfrey.  A service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at East Gastonia Church of God, 1407 Cedar Avenue in Gastonia.  Interment will follow the service in Armstrong Cemetery in Gastonia.  The family will receive friends Tuesday night, July 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at the church.
