Lee Edward Archambeau, age 81, died Saturday, June 30, at Stanley Total Living Center after a prolonged illness since November 2017. He was born April 29, 1937 in Lorain, Ohio. He retired July 2002, as a Financial Specialist - Loan Officer, from First Union in Charlotte. His parents George and Lillian Archambeau were from Lorain, Ohio. Lee is survived by his daughter Diane and two sons Brad and Bryan and seven grandchildren. His sister Joyce died February 11, 2004 where her husband Ed Novotny and their four girls and three grandchildren live in Stanley. Lee's young brother Neil died in New York. Mr. Archambeau had many friends who knew him personally and their lives will be changed far better for knowing him to include Mrs. Sally Green and family, Leona Dellinger and family, Furman and Martha Broadway, Retired SGT. Major Robert Teske and wife Angie, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Black, and Jeff Shealy. His memorial service will be held July 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the Teske's residence at 3297 Hwy 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
