Martha Ann (Towler) Killian

Martha Ann Killian, 81, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018. She was born in Danville, VA, daughter of the late Jimmy and Vera Towler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Killian, her daughter, Faye Morrow, and four sibilings. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Williamson and wife, Susan of Belmont, John Williamson of Cramerton, Windy Short of Belmont, Robin Cleveland of Oklahoma, Daryl Killian and wife, Barbara of Gastonia, and Angela Killian of Lowell; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Killian will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at New Bethel Independent Missionary Baptist Church, 4116 Mountainview Street, Gastonia, NC 28056. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:30 p.m. on Monday at Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly and again from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.
