Richard Dean Conley, 41, died December 15, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Gaston County, son of the late Terry Dean Conley.

Survivors include his wife Vickie Bumgardner Conley, his mother Bertha Mae Paxton Conley of Mount Holly, three step children Crystal, Michael, and Brian Grayson, and 2 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
