Laurie Allen Bozardt, 55, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of Janice Northington Bozardt and the late Ronald Wilkinson Bozardt, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his niece, Sarah Bozardt. Allen spent 30 years with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office, working his way up to the rank of Captain prior to his retirement. When not working, hunting, or fishing, he could be found teaching his kids how to garden, can, cook, and so much more.
