Barbara "Barb" Jean (Voyzey) Doyne

Barbara "Barb" Jean Voyzey Doyne, 75, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born in Hazelton, PA, daughter of the late Stanley and Clara Wright Voyzey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Monaghan; and her brother, William Voyzey. Barb was a speech therapist in the Gaston County Schools for over 30 years. She loved to make crafts and was an avid potter. Gardening was a favorite pastime and she was awarded Yard of the Month on 3 occasions.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Barb is survived by her husband, Richard Doyne; her sons, Christopher Doyne and Justin Doyne; and her grandchildren, Noah, Greyson, Mary, Tucker, and Merritt.

A memorial service to celebrate Barb's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. The family will greet guests after the service, at the funeral home.
