Barry Ray Reynolds, 56, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020. He was born in Gaston County, son of Sydney Ray Reynolds and the late Lynda Clark Reynolds. He was a member of Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a carpenter by trade and loved woodworking, motorcycling, grilling and making ice cream. He was a dedicated family man who adored his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Michelle Bailey Reynolds; his children, Heather Reynolds Rhyne (Chris), Zachary Ray Reynolds (Leah), and Erin Reynolds Lewis (Mitchell); his step-son, Darrell Bailey (Rebecca); his sister, Lorie Reynolds McNabb; his grandchildren, Emery, Chloe, Talon, Sawyer, and Huntley; his step-grandson, Zayne; and a very special aunt, Libby Wyche (Nick).
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Reynolds will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church. Dr. Danny Penny will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
