Betty (Dixon) Vido

Betty Dixon Vido, 92, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. She was born in Cherokee County to the late Ethel Williams Dixon. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death her husband Paul James Vido and by her son, Timmy Vido. Betty was a member of Wesport Baptist Church in Denver.  She was a faithful woman of God who loved the Lord, her family, amd her friends with all she had.  Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Paul Vido and his significant other, Angela Davis, Ricky Vido and his fiance, Gina, and Tony Vido and his wife, Michele; a granddaughter, Ashley Sullivan and her husband, Jonathan; a grandson, Michael Vido; and two great grandchildren, Harper and Tyler Sullivan. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Westport Baptist Church Cemetery, 2372 Lake Shore Road S, in Denver. The family will greet guests from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., prior to the graveside service, at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
