Bobby Lee Welch

Bobby Lee Welch, 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. He was born in South Carolina, son of the late Burlin and Pearl Welch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Billy Welch, Jimmy Welch, Mike Welch and Steve Welch. Mr. Welch retired from Fruehauf Trailer Corporation and was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church, Stanley. He loved fishing and collecting.

Mr. Welch is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jeanette Lindsey Welch; his daughters, Yvonne Massie (Jackie), Yolanda Worley (J.W.), and Yvette Flores (Joe); 17 grandchildren, Michael Moretz, Lajeana Horn, Kristie Mahaffey, David Worley, Jason Lee, Jeremy Lee, Jonathan Lee, Joshua Lee, Joelle Lee, Joseph Flores, Janessa Flores, Jeanette Brown, Josiah Flores, Jared Flores, Jordan Flores, Joey Flores and Jesse Flores; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jackie Welch; a sister, Teresa Holland; a sister-in-law, Dot Greene; and a brother-in-law, James Floyd Lindsey.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Welch will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Rev. David R. Livingston, Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery - West, Charlotte. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am, and until time of the funeral service, on Saturday at the funeral home.
