Brenda Gail (Barker) Baker

Brenda Gail Baker, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Abner and Pauline Howard Barker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Baker; and her son, Ricky Smith.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her children, Cindy Geibel and husband, Ron, and Darren Smith; her grandchildren, Megan Mims and husband, Neal, Shane Cross, and Jamie Walker and husband, David; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brailee, Milo, Lucas, and Maddie; and her brother, Reggie Barker.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Baker will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Rev. Buddy Mims will officiate. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, Iron Station. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
