Carlean (McQueen) Mosley

Carlean McQueen Mosley, 83, formerly of Belmont, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Neal Archer McQueen and Hattie Lee Randolph McQueen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William “Bill” Mosley; her sisters, Annie Ruth McQueen Hoffman (Bob), and Jean McQueen Vernon; and her brothers, Glenn McQueen (Margaret), Neal McQueen, James McQueen, and Tracy McQueen.  Mrs. Mosley is survived by her children, Cheryl Hughes (Scotty) of Anderson, SC, Loretta Carrigan (Roy Haufmann) of Anderson, SC, and Billie-Jo Burns (David) of Boone, NC; her grandchildren, Chris McConnell (Danielle), Travis Carrigan (Mandy), Noah Criswell, Halei Feltman (Ryan), Allison Anderson, Ashley Davidson (David), Brian Hughes (Sarah), and Brad Hughes; her great-grandchildren, Preston McConnell, Violet McConnell, Chloe Reich, David Carrigan, Kaylee Myers, Kingston Anderson, Emma Hughes, and Simon Davidson; her sisters-in-law, Gail McQueen and Margaret McQueen; and her brother-in-law, Sonny Vernon.   A visitation will be held from 12-1pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mosley and Burial will follow at 2pm at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.  Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org.
