Christine Jane (Hilton) Hester

Christine Jane Hester, age 85, of Mount Holly, passed away on Sunday March 10, 2024 at her home.  She was born in Cherokee County, SC and was the daughter of the late Milford and Nellie Warlick Hilton.  She will be remembered as a hard worker both in and out of her home and loved her family dearly.  She was a member of Goshen Free Will Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed watching game shows, playing horseshoes and badminton.  She also enjoyed desserts.  
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years John Hester, her daughter Mitzi Kirby, her brother Charlie Hilton, and her sister Joann Saunders.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Frankie Tuck, her brothers: Gary and Milford Hilton Jr.; her grandchildren: John Kirby (Katherine), Christen Sunwall (Anders), and Logan Tuck, as well as her great granddaughter Ella Sunwall. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday March 17, 2024 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Sunday also at the Funeral Home.
