Clarence Franklin Smith

Clarence Franklin Smith, Jr., 85, of Mount Holly, passed away at Stanley Total Living Center on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. He was born in Gaston County to the late Clarence Franklin Smith, Sr. and Hattie Davis Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Shepherd Smith and his brother, Jimmy Smith. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Annette McQueen; grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and her husband, Andrew, and Ashley Howard and her husband, Robbie; his brother, Doyle Smith; and his sisters, Patsy Anthony, Brenda Bonner, and Ann Coley. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly. Arrangements are in the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.
