David Kelly Bolick, Sr. 62, died July 2, 2018 at the Testa Family Hospice House in Cleveland County. A native of Stillwater, Minnesota he was the son of the late Phyllis Noreen Cocherell Bolick and Robert Kelly Bolick. David was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in textiles and loved life. He never met a stranger that didn’t become his friend and was always quick to help anyone in need.

David is survived by a son, David Kelly Bolick, Jr; two sisters, Laura Bolick (Lorrie Pressley) of Mount Holly and Deborah Guba (Thomas) of Washington State; four granddaughters, Mackenzie, Savannah, Alissa and Janessa; Aunt Sharon and Uncle Walter Penland of Gastonia; nephew, Andrew Guba of Portland, Oregon; great nephew, Shaun Guba.

A service celebrating David’s life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at The Hut, 302 Brook Street, Belmont, North Carolina.
