David Cooley Obituary

David Anthony Cooley, 59, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born in Mecklenburg County son of Martha Sue Keever Cooley and the late Walter Glenn Cooley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Beaty.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Cooley is survived by his daughter, Michelle Lynne Cooley and companion, Tabitha Hamilton; his son, Justin David Cooley; his grandchildren, Joshua Braswell, Matthew Braswell, Kelsey Bare, and Elijah Cooley; his siblings, Wayne Cooley and Marie Petrea and her husband, Willie; his fiancé’, Sandy Payne and step-son, Aaron Fortson; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly.
