Deborah Marie Gyier Howard, 49, of Kings Mountain, met Jesus face to face on Saturday, March 20, 2021 while on a trip to Boone. She was born in Gaston County to the late William Quentin Gyier and Sandra Kay Stilwell Gyier. She was a member of Pentecostal Worship Center in Gastonia. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Scott Howard; children Derek Gyier, Earlene Whitlow, Tabatha Gyier, and Michael Howard; ten grandchildren; her adopted children, Noah Costner and Cameron Hogue; her siblings, Earlene Emerson, Tina Grindstaff, Quentin Gyier, and Ray Gyier; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; as well as a special cousin she loved very much, Charlie Rhinehart. The family will greet guests from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will conclude at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont.
