Debra (Hoke) Vernon

Debra Hoke Vernon, 64, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Janie Boggs Hoke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Hoke.

Mrs. Vernon is survived by her husband, Timothy Ray Vernon; her son, Landon Vernon and his wife, Shay; her grandson, Waylon Vernon; and a number of nieces and nephews. She loved her family and being a maw-maw. Her greatest joy was her grandson.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Vernon will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Alexis, NC. The family will greet guests on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church.
