Donna Lynn (Clevinger) McLendon

Donna Lynn Clevinger McLendon, 73, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was born in Pikeville, KY, daughter of the late Carl and Nina Mae Bailey Clevinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, David E. McLendon; her son, Michael Wayne Little; her sister, Janey Childers; and her niece, Robin Bartley. She loved her family dearly and was a loving mother, grandmother, Aunt Sissy, and soon-to-be great grandmother. She was a mother to all and played a vital role in the lives of her family and friends. If you knew Donna, you were loved and you never left her without a good laugh. She loved to shop, especially on QVC and at Walmart. When she was ready to go shopping, you had to plan to be shopping all day. She enjoyed popcorn and was always needing a bag of Skinny Pop or Boom Chicka Pop.

Mrs. McLendon is survived by her son, Shawn Vincent Sullens (Crystal); her sister, Sue Bartley; her grandchildren, Travis Little (Kayla), Cody Sullens, Austin Rice, and Courtney Rice; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Little; her soon-to-be-born great granddaughter, Waylynn Grace Little; her niece, Eugenia Fields; her nephew, Nick Bartley (Joan); her niece, Pam Maynard (Wesley); and her great nieces, Allyson Bartley White (Marcus), and Adair Bartley.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations, in the name of Donna McLendon, be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to prevent and cure breast cancer as Donna was a survivor of breast cancer.
