Elaine Ramsey Jennings

Elsie Elaine Ramsey Jennings, 66, of Stanley, died Sunday, May 27 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Mecklenburg County to the late Edward Leroy and Edna Lucille Davis Ramsey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Everette Jennings, Sr.  Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Lee Harvey and his fiance Amber Russell and Shannon Harvey and his wife Samatha; two sisters Becky Land and Sandy Moore; three grandchildren Amber Harvey, Carmen Harris, and Makala Dabbs; as well as three great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Friday, June 1 from 6 to 8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly.  A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 2 also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery in Mount Holly.
