Ernest Welch Obituary

Ernest Ray Welch, 70, of Belmont, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. He was born in Franklin, NC to the late Vinson Welch and Margie Hunnicutt. He had 10 brothers and sisters. He will be remembered for being the best spouse, dad, and friend. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Pat Welch; son Edward Welch; daughters Samantha Rivera and Rosalee Graham; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2018 in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly officiated by Pastor Mable Manning. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 also at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service on Sunday at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
