Frank Douglas Huffstickler, Sr.

Frank Douglas Huffstickler, Sr., passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born in Mecklenburg County, son of the late William L. Huffstickler and Ida Bryant Huffstickler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Bob Huffstickler and Jackie White; his granddaughter, Rachel Huffstickler; his siblings, Carl Huffstickler and Barbara Barnette; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Cooley, Paul Jones, and Frank Barnette.

Mr. Huffstickler is survived by his wife of 72 years, Helen Keever Huffstickler; his children, Doug Huffstickler (Pat), Jeff Huffstickler (Teresa), and Jason Huffstickler (Ginger), daughter-in-law, Teresa Huffstickler; his grandchildren, Missy Barnes (Dennis), Scott Huffstickler (Aubrey), Erin Brooks (Shane), Ben Huffstickler (Fiance’, Bethan), Robin Huffstickler (Jason Rick), Kelly Huffstickler, Dillon Huffstickler, Justin Huffstickler, Joshua Huffstickler (Crissy), Julie, and Johnathan White; 15 great-grandchildren; his sister, Shirley Jones; his sister-in-law, Sue Cooley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Huffstickler will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
