Vance Lail, age 69, passed away on December 27, 2022. He was born in Gaston County and was the son of the late Donald and Mary Lail. Vance will be remembered as a person who was always willing to help others in their time of need. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and was known for his tomatoes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew Robert Smith. Those left to cherish his memory include his two sisters: Patricia Lail, and Rebecca Potter; his niece Angela Barker, as well as his great niece Sarah Barker. Services will be private.
