Gwendolyn Reynolds

Gwendolyn Reynolds, aged 66, of Stanley, NC, passed away on March 22, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1958, in Charlotte, NC. Gwendolyn was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Gwendolyn, known to her loved ones as Gwen, had a heart of gold. She was sweet, funny, caring, and always willing to go above and beyond for those she loved. Gwen had a passion for cooking and feeding others, never wanting to see anyone go hungry. She had a unique charm of singing off-key to songs, and bringing joy and laughter to those around her.

In her professional life, Gwen dedicated thirty years of service to Forms and Supply, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, from 1991 to 2021.

Outside of work, Gwen found joy in various hobbies such as spending time in the mountains and at the beach, playing cards, and most of all, cherishing moments with her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Chevy.

Gwen is survived by her son Brandon Reynolds, his wife Michelle, and their daughter Skylar, as well as her daughter Amber Roth, her husband Chris, and their son Hudson. She is also survived by her sisters Dawn Inman, Joanne Bolick, Carlene Helms, Rhonda Cochrane, and brother Butch Jannette. Gwen was preceded in death by her husband Larry Reynolds, her mother Margie Jannette, and her father Benny Jannette.

A visitation and service to honor Gwen's life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt. Holly, NC 28120. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, followed by the service at 2 pm.
