Jeadon Whitesides Waldrop, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born in Winnsboro, SC, daughter of the late Bernard and Lois Branham Whitesides. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney "Rusty" Whitesides. She was retired from Shaw Industries of Charlotte.
Mrs. Waldrop is survived by her husband, Bobby Waldrop of Mount Holly; her children, Tommy Walters (Fran) of Rock Hill, SC, Tracey Anderson (Charlie) of Concord, and Todd Whitesides (Dolores) of Lake Wylie, SC; her grandchildren, Darrin Whitesides, M' Kenzy Walters, Jason Anderson, and Christopher Whitesides; her great-grandchildren, Octavia Whitesides and Lylah Whitesides; her siblings, Steve Whitesides (Wanda) of Blackstock, SC, Jeff Whitesides (Velma) of Rock Hill, SC, and Kim Wade of Rock Hill, SC; her brother-in-law, Kevin Waldrop (Jennifer) of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Waldrop will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
