JoAnn Hilton Saunders

JoAnn Hilton Saunders, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Robin Johnson Hospice House, at the age of 76. She was born in Cherokee, South Carolina to the late Milford Hilton and Nellie Warlick Hilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Larry Gene Saunders, Sr. and by her brother Charlie Lee Hilton. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Dana Terry and her husband Paul and Larry "Toby" Saunders, Jr.; her grandson Elijah Bradley Saunders; and her siblings Gary Dean Hilton, Milford Hilton, Jr., and Christine Hilton Hester. The family will greet guests Friday, June 4, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Revival Tabernacle Stanley, 212 S Highway 27 in Stanley. A service to celebrate her life will be held immediately following at 2:00, also at the church. Interment will conclude at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery, Mount Holly.
