Joseph "Joe" Howard Small

Joseph Howard Small, Sr. "Joe", 65, of Mount Holly, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. He was born in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Ira and Ruby Deese Small. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lynn McCoy and Margaret Stevens, and two brothers, Glen and Olin Small. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Pamela Baer Small; his children, Candace Rainey and her husband J.J., Joseph Howard Small, Jr. and his wife Jessica, Cynthia Stacy and her husband Adam, and Rachel Small; his grandchildren, Jaylynn, Zoey, Allie, Clyde, Alex, Theodore, Abraham, Tanner, and Braxton; and his siblings Virginia Anderson and her husband Carl, Pauleen Baker, Sherry Bailey, and Wayne Small and his wife Carolyn. Joe will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who loved the Lord and enjoyed serving Him. The family will greet guests Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 3:00 until 3:45 at Beth Haven Baptist Church, 1783 Beth Haven Church Road, Denver. A service to celebrate Joe's life will follow at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, also at the church. Interment will conclude in the church cemetery.
