Justine (Smith) Hinson

Justine Hinson, 85, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was born in Union County, daughter of the late Brady Franklin Smith and Verona Faye McCoy Smith Hartsell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jackson Hinson; a sister, Kay Simpson; two brothers, Billy and Bobby Smith; and a great-grandson, River Ross. She was a member of South Point Free Will Baptist Church and an expert and energized Avon Representative. Mrs. Hinson was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her sons, Wesley Phillip Hargett and wife, Renea of Mount Holly and Richard Justin Hargett and wife, Karen of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Shea Kegley and husband, Chris, Jordon Hargett and fiancé, Savannah, Jessica Ross and husband, Josh, and Riley Arneson; ten great-grandchildren and her sister, Rachel Gillum.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hinson will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at South Point Free Will Baptist Church, Belmont with Pastor Michael Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm.
