Katherine "Nanny" (Kelley) Wagner

Katherine "Nanny" Wagner, 83, went to be with the Lord Jesus on February 23, 2024. Katherine was born on December 5, 1940, to her late mother, Louella Hall Taylor and stepfather, Major Taylor. Nanny was an amazing woman of God. To know her was to love her. She loved attending her church, Riverside House of Prayer, where she'd been a member since they opened the doors. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren. She could usually be found outside planting, and caring for her flowers, watching the birds and playing with her dogs.

In addition to her mother and stepfather, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Morris; and her brothers, Charles Kelley and Tony Taylor; as well as special cousin, Betty Joyce Nixon.

Left to treasure her beloved memory are her children, Bobby Morris (Peggy), Jeffrey Morris (Paula), and Kathy Morrow (Larry); her sister, Barbara Herndon (Bob); her brothers, Robert Taylor (Brenda) and James Taylor (Wanda); her grandchildren, Sara Digh, Jessie Morris, Brittany Starke, Bobby Morris, Christopher Morris, and Danny Jones; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Ryne Digh, Peyton Digh, Cooper Starke, Cody Starke, Carlie Starke, Carson Starke, Charlie Starke, Carter Starke, Harper Morris, Waylon Morris, Brylynn Morris, Alexander Morris, Lucas Morris, Jaxon Bone, and Kensley Bone; and her special cousins, Robert Morris, Shirley Green, and Babbie Lambert.

A memorial service to celebrate Nanny's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly. Pastor Larry Morrow will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
