Lena Mae (Roscoe) Brooks

Lena Mae Roscoe Brooks, 66, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was born in Richmond County, daughter of the late Oscar and Eunice Grant Roscoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Eugene Brooks; and her siblings, Sybil Roscoe and Richard Roscoe.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her children, Kimberly Watt and Michael Fortson, and wife, Angel; her siblings Helene Ferreira and husband, Joe, Teresa Gibson and husband, Dee, Danny Roscoe and wife, Julie, and Joyce Owens, and husband, Bob; her grandchildren, Richard and Jessica Watt, William and Jennifer Watt, Christopher and Ashley Fortson, Taylor Fortson, Chase Fortson, Ben Threatt, Zery'ah Threatt, and Talia Talley; her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Greyson, Brantley, Emma, and Ember; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members: Ashley, Brandon, Jina, Dean, Aiden, Addison, Josh, Jennifer, Garrett, Kasey, Aubrey, Lathan, Sherry, Terri, Greg, Maria, Steve, Tutti, Patricia, and Caydon.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Brooks will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, with Reverends Matamba Mbayabu and Jerry Rowe officiating.
